"The Bassbone is just what I have been
looking for... I can maintain the integrity
of two instruments on stage or in the studio
with control over the balance and keep my
high standards for my low notes!" ~

earned him numerous awards including most
valuable player (bass catagory) at the International

"The engineers at Radial have made it simple and straight-ahead for us musicians who don't necessarily want to become 'on-the-gig programmers' (if you know what I mean). Whether I'm in the studio or playing live, I'm never without my Bassbone!"
~ Will Lee
Besides being seen on television almost every weeknight with Paul Shafer's band on the 'Late Night with Dave Letterman' show, Will Lee has toured with B.J.Thomas, Horace Silver, Bette Midler, Barry Manilow, The Brecker Brothers, and Herbie Mann. Gaining experience in the commercial field, Will found himself in high demand. As a bassist and singer, he's recorded with top performers including David Sanborn, Boz Scaggs Diane Schuur, Tom Scott, Neil Sedaka, Carly Simon, Frank Sinatra, Phoebe Snow, Ronnie Spector, The Spinners, Spyro Gyra, Ringo Starr, Steely Dan, Cat Stevens and Barbra Streisand -- and thats only some of the "S's"!

"When
I can't take a big custom switching rack
on the road; I've always had troubles with
varying outputs. Enter the Bassbone - exit
the problem. I have found the Bassbone indispensable
for my small and medium touring rig. It
evens the outputs of bass and Stick, gives
me boost capabilities when I need it and
holds up solidly through the wear and tear
of one nighters. I've just come back from
Europe and Russia, where the device held
up to the real world of touring, rough treatment
and varying voltages. The Bassbone was there
doing it's job for me every night - my sound
engineer is ecstatic!" ~
Tony Levin
Known for his innovative spirit, Tony Levin has played with Peter Gabriel, King Crimson, Yes, Liquid Tension Experiment, Pink Floyd, John Lennon, Joan Armatrading, Alice Cooper, Seal, David Bowie, Carly Simon, California Guitar Trio and Paul Simon, among many others. "I can use my electric and acoustic basses
while using only one channel on my amp...
and my sound gets sent to the PA system
by a clean, built-in DI that sounds consistently
great!" ~

"I
have to say - this is one fabulous little
gizmo! I've been using it here in my studio,
working on a film score. Nice sound, versatile
as well. Well done!"
~ Benny Rietveld

This album gave him a chance to work with such luminaries as Dave Matthews, Everlast, Rob Thomas, Eagle-Eye Cherry and The Dust Brothers. "The
Bassbone works great in the studio or on
the live stage. Throw it in your gig bag
and take it wherever you go."
~ Victor Wooten
At age three, Victor's brother Regi taught him to play bass. At age five he made his stage debut with his four older brothers in 'the Wootens', playing songs by RB mainstays like James Brown, Sly the Family Stone, War, and Curtis Mayfield. Later, Victor moved to Nashville, met jazz banjo luminary Béla Fleck and formed 'the Flectones' with Vic on bass, Vic's brother Roy on drums and Howard Levy on keys and harmonica. This band earned four Grammy nominations and a number one hit album on the Jazz charts. Wooten's solo recordings and colaborations with friends like David Grier, Paul Brady and Branford Marsalis round out an amazing and varied career.

"The
Bassbone is great and I use it constantly.
It lets me EQ the highs for the right slap
and rounds out the low end to give me the
deep rich tone of a traditional bass. With
my Bassbone I get the sound I want and send
it to the PA the way I like it." ~
Chuck Rainey
A star electric bassist for decades and highly respected as a jazz & pop stage and studio perfomer, Chuck Rainey's heavy, steady pulse and knack for locking onto a groove is well known. Chuck joined King Curtis's New York group in the sixties and played with jazz luminaries Jerome Richardson, Grady Tate, Mose Allison, Gato Barbieri, Gene Ammons and Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson. In the sevnties he recorded with Aretha Franklin and later with the Crusaders, Hampton Hawes, Donald Byrd, Sonny Rollins, and John Handy. Later recordings with Ricky Lee Jones and Steely Dan have earned Chuck 'legend' status among his peers.

"The
Bassbone is a great piece of gear that is
jammed with high-quality features. It's compact,
built tough and it gives me the versatility
I need on stage. Best of all, the tone is
'honest'. Whenever I travel, I take my two
basses and my Bassbone" ~
Roscoe Beck
Co-producer of Jennifer Warnes collaboration with Leonard Cohen, 'Famous Blue Raincoat', Roscoe has worked with many other artists as well – including four releases by Texas guitar virtuoso Eric Johnson. "Finally,
a bass-oriented switcher and DI with good
tone and lots of flexibility. My sound man
used to go crazy compensating for level
and EQ differences between my basses. But
now he's in heaven. What a gem this thing
is. Nice job guys!" ~
Justin meldal-Johnsen
Justin first picked up the bass at age 12 and was soon playing in local LA garage bands. By '92, Justin was recording with seminal L.A. hip hop/jazz group Circle of Power and then touring with Gang of Four bassist Dave Allen's 'The Elastic Purejoy' band. In '95, Justin got the call from Tori Amos to play on her 'Hey Jupiter' EP. Later, budding nuveau-pop cultural icon Beck asked Justin to come by a rehearsal 'to jam', which turned out to be a 6-year-and-counting gig as music director and conceptual co-conspirator. Justin has worked with such diverse acts as Garbage, Air, Macy Gray, Blinker the Star, Jamiroquai, Moby, Sasha & BT, The Pulsars, On, Electric Company, Amnesia, Jude, Pet, Bill White Acre, Nelly Furtado, the Dixie Chicks and many others.

"I
needed a flexible unit that allows me to switch
instruments quickly between songs and that
I can haul to a small gig or TV show without
carrying a load of equipment. The Bassbone
gets the job done for me!"
~ Fred Mollings
After a four year stint with the Backstreet Boys and four years kicking butt with Britney Spears stage band, Fred's still having tons of fun with his 5-string and synth-basses. Freddie's first influence was Jermaine Jackson of the Jackson 5, whose deft grooves convinced a nine-year old Freddie to play on the bottom four strings of his guitar. His dad’s friend would let him play a beautiful Fender Jazz Bass and Mollings' knew that bass was what he wanted to do. The first song Freddie learned was 'Get Down Tonight' by KC & the Sunshine Band. Now, on tour with Britney, Mollings get's down with up to 70 performances in 60 days, playing in front of 30,000 people per show!

"Switching between my passive and active bass live was a nightmare in level changes for our soundman. The Radial Bassbone does it seamlessly every time, keeping both basses fat in the mix. It's been a godsend for me. You guys rock!" ~ John Billings
Bassist for Donna Summer for 10 years, John Billings has recently worked with Rick Springfield and played bass with Victor Wooten's kinfolk, 'The Wooten Brothers'. John also plays with Wynona Judd on her TV dates and tours with Tanya Tucker, Chely Wright and Brady Seals on his 'time off' from playing with Donna. In addition to all of that, John records, produces and performs with the Suitcase Pimps. Check out their sound at the link below.
