bassists today use two instruments, typically with
very different levels and sounds eg: a traditional
Fender® style passive and a 5 string active.
We designed the Bassbone to allow switching instruments
without having to re-adjust tone and volume at the
amp. This is done with two channels and an EQ with
enough power and versatility to override the bass
amp’s tone settings!
The Bassbone can also be used with one bass –
with a different tonal setting for each channel,
you can sound like two distinct instruments simply
by switching channels.
Also included is a power-booster with variable
gain and a switchable outboard effect loop which
can be used individually or together. For example:
introduce a flanger with boost for soloing. A
balanced output sends the signal to a mixer with
all your sound settings (level, EQ, effect loop),
eliminating the need to carry a bass amplifier
to coffee house gigs. There's even a bass-friendly
tuner out! |
