"As soon as I plugged the Tonebone
Classic in, I could not believe how quiet
it was. I was very impressed. It is both
responsive and musical. I can honestly say
that I truly appreciate the Tonebone and
feel that it is a valid addition to the
very fabric of the distortion guitar sound.
This is a rare find."
~ Eric Johnson
A native
of Austin, Texas, which is steeped in blues
and country music, Eric Johnson is on the
short list of all-time guitar heroes, earning
critical and commercial successes: a Grammy,
accolades from his peers and unabashed devotion
from his fans. At 16, he was a member of
a band called Mariani and by 21, a part
of Electromagnets, a jazz-rock band with
an intense cult following. Johnson's burgeoning
reputation in the late 1970s and early 1980s
led to session work with the likes of Cat
Stevens, Carole King and Christopher Cross,
playing on Cross' Grammy-sweeping self-titled
1980 debut album. Johnson's breakthrough
into the mainstream came with 1990's Capitol
release 'Ah Via Musicom'. The platinum-selling
album was nominated for a Grammy and the
song 'Cliffs of Dover' earned Johnson a
Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental, topping
fellow nominees the Allman Brothers Band,
Danny Gatton, Rush and Yes. In 2004, he
was invited by Eric Clapton to take part
in the Crossroads Guitar Festival. Eric
was also honored by Martin and Fender with
his own 'Eric Johnson signature' model acoustic
and electric guitars. Check out Eric's latest
release, 'Bloom', on Steve Vai's Favoured
Nations label.

"I have tried every amp, distortion
box, gadget etc. that has ever been made
since 1967 to present and nothing has sounded
like the Tonebone. It has become an incredible
asset to my sound and I recommend this to
anyone who is looking for that NATURAL warm
sound with sustain for days and days! Buy
this now!"
~ Steve Lukather
Though session guitar player, songwriter, arranger and producer Steve Lukather is best known for his work with pop-rock band Toto, he is also legendary as a session guitarist around LA. He would walk into a studio at the last minute and lay down perfect tracks the first take, in whatever style was required. Known to his friends as 'Luke', he still records and tours with Toto and continues to be in demand as a studio player and producer. Influenced by blues-rock pioneers such as Jimmy Hendrix, and Jimmy Page, jazz guitarists such as Larry Carlton, and funk/fusion virtuosos such as Al Di Meola, Lukather's style is a very unique one. He is known for fast, melodic, yet bluesy lines. His vibrato is very pronounced and steady. Lukather differs from most rock guitarists in that he can follow chord charts and changes, much like a jazz musician can. Steve has a very 'signature' tone, recognizable with its smooth overdrive/distortion, deep stereo delay, and various effects on top.

"Tonebone pedals sound great! They
are incredibly responsive, dynamic and warm.
Best of all, they react like a real amp-channel.
Perfect for cleaner amps that need that
extra kick!"

Sorry... no quote from Gary yet!
Gary Moore is acknowledged as one of the finest musicians that the British Isles has ever produced. In a career that dates back to the 1960s, there are few musical genres th which he has not turned his adroit musical hand. Seeing John Mayall's Bluesbreakers in his hometown opened up to him the rich world of 'The Blues' and it wasn't long before he was being hailed as a teen musical prodigy. He has since graced the line-ups of several notable rock bands, Thin Lizzy, Colosseum II and Skid Row to name but three. He cut three albums with the power trio Skid Row and toured the USA supporting The Allman Brothers Band and Mountain amongst others. Gary was Thin Lizzy's guitarist on and off through the 1970's, in between a solo career that included colaborations with Phil Lynott that produced many great records. Gary's albums 'Still Got The Blues' and 'After Hours' mined a rich musical vein within which his creativity could flow freely and featured cameo appearances from Blues guitar greats Albert King, BB King, and Albert Collins. Gary worked alongside Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce in the band BBM before resuming his solo career with 'Back To The Blues', which presents Gary Moore as a true keeper of the Blues' flame. Moore continued evolving his playing style in the new millenium with the albums 'Scars', 'Monsters of Rock' and possibly his rawest album yet, 'Power of the Blues'.

"I a-a-a-absolutely love the Tonebone pedals. I have tried them out extensively and will be incorporating them into my stage setup. They are truly toneful, expressive and totally rock." ~
Randy Bachman
Winnipeg, Canada native Randy Bachman has seriously rocked out through several decades. Randy's guitar, vocals and/or writing can be heard on a string of hit singles and albums starting in the sixties with the Guess Who's 'These Eyes', 'She's Come Undone' and 'American Woman'. Later, Randy's band Bachman Turner Overdrive brought us the anthem of blue collar rock, 'Taking Care of Business' along with 'Ain't Seen Nothing Yet' and 'Let it Ride' – all staples of classic-rock radio to this day. Today, Randy is just as involved in the music business as he ever was, recording and producing new talent with his own record label and raising his son, Tal Bachman, who is now a hit songwriter and performer in his own right. Randy's reunion tours of both BTO and the Guess Who have been very successful and have brought his Lenny Breau-influenced jazzy riffs and soaring solos to the forefront once again. These days, listen to Randy's exquisite playing on his latest solo release 'JazzThing' and hear him DJ on 'Vinyl Tap', his own CBC radio-1 show, every Saturday night at 7pm.

Sorry... no quote from Sonny yet!
Sonny Landreth's revolutionary slide style can be heard on recordings by Mark Knopfler, Jerry Douglas, Marshal Crenshaw, Beau Soleil, John Mayall, Jounior Wells, Steve Reily, Cindy Cashdollar, Dr. John, Shelby Lynn, Gov't Mule, Jimmy Buffet, Gatmouth Brown and John Hyatt. A veteran of Clifton Chenier's Red Hot Lousiana Band, he was hired by Hyatt in the wake of the songwriter's acclaimed 'Bring the Family' recording, along with most of his regular bandmembers. Just after recording his first live album, 'Grant Street', at the Lafayett club he opened 25 years ago Sonny was enlisted to play at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Festival. Clapton has said that "Sonny is probably the most underestimated musician on the planet and also probably one of the most advanced."
